FAQ

Well, we just started, so this section is rather short.

Just mail your question to feedback@musedash.com and if we get this question frequently you will end in the hall of fame of Musedash Frequently Asked Questions.

Is it possible to manage more than one band from one account?

Yes, it is. On the right upper corner of the screen you can see your user name. If you click on it, you get access to your personal settings. There you get an overview of your current bands and of your personal data. You can also click on a button to add a band. The setup wizard for a new band will appear.

Take a look at the upper right corner of the screen when you are on the dashboard or on the settings page. There you can see your user name and the names of all your bands. If you click on it, you switch between bands or you go to your personal settings.

The welcome wizard was interupted during setup. What do I do now?

It is possible that you didn't go through all steps during the welcome setup wizard. During the setup you leave our site to set permissions on Facebook, Twitter, Myspace and YouTube. If you click on the wrong link or you navigate away (e.g. because you forgot your password), we might lose you in the middle of the procedure. No harm done, however. You can edit the data of your networks on the settings page.

Apparently there is something wrong with the Facebook data. What can I do?

If you think that there is something wrong with your Facebook data, you can review your Facebook settings on the settings page. Here you can see which Facebook pages and Facebook groups are linked to your personal Facebook account and you can choose which page and which group should be displayed on your dashboard and in your statistics. Be aware that you must be an administrator of the Facebook page or the creator of a Facebook group for us to have access to the data of these pages and groups.

If the page or group that you are looking for is linked to another Facebook user profile, you can add another Facebook user by clicking on the link 'Add new Facebook user' on the settings page. A wizard will appear that leads you through the procedure of setting the right permissions in Facebook.

If you feel there is something completely wrong with the Facebook permissions, it might be a good idea to delete the Facebook account from the Musedash settings and to revoke all permissions for Musedash in Facebook.

To delete a Facebook user in Musedash, click on the dust bin next to the Facebook profile on the settings page. To revoke all permissions in Facebook, you must go to to your Privacy Settings under the Account tab on the upper right of your Facebook screen. When you see the privacy settings, you have 'Apps and Websites' at the bottom left. Click on 'Edit your settings'. In the next step you see a list of the apps that you use. By clicking on Musedash you get an expanded view with all the permissions. You can remove the app by clicking on 'Remove app' at the top. If the application is deleted, all permissions are revoked. This means you can start completely from scratch and link your Facebook profile to Musedash on the settings page of Musedash.

How much does Musedash cost?

At this moment we are in a testing phase and Musedash is still free. Later on, when we have more features, we will switch to a freemium model: the basic service will stay free, but for some extra features you will pay.

We don't bite!

A doubt, a question, a proposal? If you feel there is something missing or you think you can gives us some advice, drop a line at feedback@musedash.com.
